Business Volunteers Limited is an Australian not-for-profit aid organisation - an NGO
which has existed for nearly 20 years.

government foreign aid program and partly funded by client countries and organisations.

AESOP ("Australian Expert Service Overseas Program") has for main objective to
help alleviate poverty and encourage self-determination in the developing countries of
South-East Asia and the Pacific (including the indigenous communities in Australia).
AESOP target "markets" are small or medium-sized private sector
enterprises and occasionally government departments or other local NGOs which may need
assistance.

operates by "skill transferral" i.e. sending volunteers to train or mentor local
people who request help to begin a business, develop an existing business, identify and
suggest solutions for problems within a business, or establish appropriate administrative
systems.
